To commemorate the golden jubilee of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the People’s Republic of China and the State of Kuwait, the Chinese Embassy in Kuwait is pleased to announce an Art Contest under the theme “China and Kuwait in my eyes”. Winning entries will be collected by the China Cultural Center in Kuwait permanently, and will be displayed at the China Cultural Center as artworks.
The Terms and Conditions for the contest are stated as follows:
1. Theme
Under the given theme, all submitted entries, with highlights of the 50th anniversary of China-Kuwait diplomatic relations and the China-Kuwait strategic partnership, should be created to reflect the lasting friendship between China and Kuwait, the productive outcomes in bilateral exchanges and cooperation, and the hopeful vision for the China-Kuwait relations.
2. Eligibility
All individuals residing in Kuwait are eligible to enter the Contest, regardless of age and nationality.
3. Entry requirements
1) The Art Contest calls for artistic works in all categories, including but not limited to: drawings, paintings, prints, illustrations, mixed media, calligraphy, weaving, sculpture, engraving, pottery, digital paintings, photography, etc.
2) Entries submitted to the Contest must be original, unpublished, in compliance with the laws of China and Kuwait, and not infringe intellectual property rights (including copyrights) of others.
3) Entries should be visually appealing, theme-oriented , unique, positive and far-reaching.
4) Each contestant can submit unlimited number of different entries in separate submissions.
5) Dimension of paintings and drawings should be not smaller than 300mm*400mm. Digital paintings and photography works should be 300 dpi and 1024 x 768 pixels at least.
6) Each contestant is required to submit 1 to 3 high-definition images of the submitted artwork in JPG/JPEG/PNG format (Maximum file size for each image is 5 MB with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi), as well as a completed entry form (as attached) with a brief introduction (up to 200 words) of the submitted artwork in either Chinese, Arabic or English.
7) Winners and/or finalists shall provide the original copies of the submitted artworks upon the request of the Chinese Embassy in Kuwait, provided that their artworks are shortlisted.
4．Submission of entries
1) Images of the submitted artworks and completed entry forms must be sent via email at chinakuwait50@gmail.com with the subject line “CK50ART + contestant name”.
2) Last date for submission : 10th September 2021.
5．Judging criteria
All submissions will be reviewed and assessed by the Chinese Embassy in Kuwait based on the following criteria: originality and uniqueness of the design, adherence to the theme, quality of design and visual appeal.
6. Prizes and announcement of results
1) Prizes:
- Grand Prize (1): Lenovo Yoga C940 14-inch laptop (1) and certificate
- Frist Prize (1): DJI Mavic Air 2 drone (1) and certificate
- Second Prizes (3): DJI Pocket 2 Gimbal Camera (1) and certificate
- Third Prizes (10): Huawei Freebuds Pro (1) and certificate
- Honorary Prizes (20): HUAWEI Smart Body Fat Scale (1) and certificate
2) Winners will be announced on the website and twitter page of the Chinese Embassy in Kuwait, and will also be contacted via email at the email address they provided for registration.
3) All the participants will receive souvenirs and certificates provided by the Chinese Embassy in Kuwait to acknowledge their artistic achievements.
7. Supplementary rules
1) Contestants affirm that their submissions are original, not plagiarized nor copied, and do not violate the intellectual property rights of any other person or entity.
2) Contestants retain copyright of their original work, and acknowledge and agree that they grant the Chinese Embassy in Kuwait an indefinite and free of all fees and royalties license to use, publicize, reproduce, publish, distribute, display and exhibit their submitted entries.
3) In the event that any submitted entries are found to infringe the laws and regulations of either China or Kuwait, contain defamatory contents, infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party, etc., the contestants shall be responsible for all related legal liabilities. The Chinese Embassy in Kuwait shall assume no responsibility whatsoever for any loss, inconvenience or damage that may arise as a result of the aforementioned cases, and reserves the right to disqualify such entries and proceed legal action against them.
4) The decision of Chinese Embassy in Kuwait on the contest will be final and no appeal against the decision will be considered.
5) Personal data and information provided by contestants will be used by the Chinese Embassy in Kuwait for the purposes of enrollment, statistical use, correspondence and publicity only.
6) In the event of any question or difference of views regarding compliance with, interpretation, or application of the Terms and Conditions of the activity, the Chinese Embassy in Kuwait reserves the exclusive right of final interpretation of the activity in its sole discretion.
7) By submitting entries, contestants are deemed to have read and accepted the Terms and Conditions as established above, which can be amended or modified at any time by the Chinese Embassy in Kuwait.
المسابقة الفنية "الصين والكويت في عيني"
بمناسبة الذكرى الخمسين لتأسيس العلاقات الدبلوماسية
بين جمهورية الصين الشعبية ودولة الكويت
احتفالاً باليوبيل الذهبي لإقامة العلاقات الدبلوماسية بين جمهورية الصين الشعبية ودولة الكويت، فإنه يسر سفارة جمهورية الصين الشعبية في دولة الكويت أن تنظم مسابقة فنية تحت شعار "الصين والكويت في عيني". سيتم تجميع وحفظ المشاركات الفائزة من قبل المركز الثقافي الصيني في الكويت بشكل دائم، وسيتم عرضها في المركز كأعمال فنية .
شروط وأحكام المسابقة:
1. الفكرة الرئيسية:
في إطار الموضوع المحدد، فإنه يجب تصميم جميع المشاركات المقدمة مع تسليط الضوء على الذكرى الخمسين لتأسيس العلاقات الدبلوماسية بين الصين والكويت والشراكة الاستراتيجية بين البلدين، لتعكس وتجسد الصداقة التقليدية بين الصين والكويت، والإنجازات المثمرة للتبادلات الثنائية والتعاون بين البلدين، والرؤية الواعدة للعلاقات الصينية الكويتية.
2. الأهلية
جميع الأفراد المقيمين في الكويت مؤهلون للمشاركة في المسابقة، بغض النظر عن العمر والجنسية .
3. شروط المشاركات
1) المسابقة الفنية تشمل الأعمال الفنية من جميع الفئات، بما في ذلك على سبيل المثال لا الحصر: الرسومات واللوحات والمطبوعات والرسوم التوضيحية والوسائط المختلطة والخط والنسيج والنحت والنقش والفخار واللوحات الرقمية والتصوير الفوتوغرافي، وغيره.
2) يجب أن تكون جميع المشاركات المقدمة أعمالاً أصلية وغير منشورة، وتتوافق مع قوانين الصين والكويت، ولا تنتهك حقوق الملكية الفكرية (بما في ذلك حقوق النشر) للآخرين.
3) يجب أن تكون المشاركات جذابة بصريًا وتعبر عن الموضوع وفريدة وإيجابية وعميقة المعنى.
4) يمكن لكل متسابق تقديم عدد غير محدود من المشاركات المختلفة، على أن يتم تقديم كلاً منها على حدة.
5) يجب ألا تقل أبعاد اللوحات والرسومات عن 300 مم * 400 مم. ويجب أن تكون اللوحات الرقمية وأعمال التصوير بدقة 300 نقطة لكل بوصة (300 dpi )، وأبعادها 1024 × 768 بكسل على الأقل.
6) يُطلب من كل متسابق إرسال عدد 1 إلى 3 من صور عالية الدقة للعمل الفني المقدم، وذلك بصيغة JPG / JPEG / PNG (الحد الأقصى لحجم الملف لكل صورة هو 5 ميجابايت مع دقة لا تقل عن 300 نقطة لكل بوصة (300 dpi )) ، بالإضافة إلى استمارة تسجيل مكتملة البيانات (مُرفقة)، مع مقدمة موجزة (لا تزيد عن 200 كلمة) للعمل الفني المقدم باللغة الصينية أو العربية أو الإنجليزية.
7) يجب على الفائزين و/ أو المتأهلين للتصفيات النهائية تقديم النسخ الأصلية من المشاركات الفنية المقدمة بناءً على طلب السفارة الصينية في الكويت، بشرط أن يتم إدراج أعمالهم الفنية في القائمة النهائية.
4. إرسال المشاركات
1) يجب إرسال صور الأعمال الفنية المقدمة واستمارات التسجيل مكتملة البيانات عبر البريد الإلكتروني إلى: chinakuwait50@gmail.com ، على أن يحمل موضوع الرسالة عنوان: "اسم المتسابق + CK50ART ".
2) آخر موعد للتقديم: 10 سبتمبر 2021 .
5. معايير التحكيم
ستتم مراجعة جميع المشاركات المقدمة وتقييمها من قبل السفارة الصينية في الكويت بناءً على المعايير التالية: أصالة التصميم وتفرده، والالتزام بالفكرة الرئيسية، وجودة التصميم والجاذبية البصرية.
6. الجوائز وإعلان النتائج
1) الجوائز:
- الجائزة الكبرى (1): لاب توب Lenovo Yoga C940 مقاس 14 بوصة (1) مع شهادة تقديرية.
- الجائزة الأولى (1): طائرة بدون طيار DJI Mavic Air 2 (1) مع شهادة تقديرية.
- الجوائز الثانية (3): كاميرا DJI Pocket 2 Gimbal (1) مع شهادة تقديرية.
- الجوائز الثالثة (10): Huawei Freebuds Pro (1) مع شهادة تقديرية.
- الجوائز الفخرية (20): ميزان هواوي الذكي لقياس الدهون في الجسم (1) مع شهادة تقديرية.
2) سيتم الإعلان عن الفائزين بالمسابقة على الموقع الإلكتروني الرسمي والحساب الرسمي للسفارة الصينية في الكويت على موقع "تويتر"، كما سيتم التواصل معهم عن طريق البريد الإلكتروني المستخدم عند التسجيل.
3) سيحصل جميع المشاركين على هدايا تذكارية وشهادات مقدمة من السفارة الصينية في الكويت تقديراً لإنجازاتهم الفنية.
7. الشروط التكميلية
1) يؤكد المتسابقون على أن مشاركاتهم أعمال أصلية، وغير مقتبسة أو منسوخة، ولا تنتهك حقوق الملكية الفكرية لأي شخص أو كيان آخر .
2) يحتفظ المتسابقون بحقوق الطبع والنشر لعملهم الأصلي، ويقرون ويوافقون على أنهم يمنحون السفارة الصينية في الكويت ترخيصًا غير محدد المدة ودون رسوم لاستخدام، وترويج ونسخ، ونشر وتوزيع، وعرض، وإبراز مشاركاتهم المقدمة.
3) في حالة انتهاك أي من المشاركات المقدمة للقوانين واللوائح الخاصة بأيٍ من الصين أو الكويت، أو احتوائها على محتويات تشهيرية، أو انتهاكها لحقوق الملكية الفكرية لأي طرفٍ ثالث، وما إلى ذلك، فسيتحمل المتسابقون المسؤولية عن جميع الالتزامات القانونية ذات الصلة. لن تتحمل السفارة الصينية في الكويت أي مسؤولية من أي نوع عن أي خسارة أو إزعاج أو ضرر قد ينشأ نتيجة للحالات السابق ذكرها، وتحتفظ بالحق في استبعاد هذه المشاركات واتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية ضدها.
4) قرار السفارة الصينية في الكويت بشأن نتائج المسابقة نهائيًا، ولن يتم النظر في أي طعن ضد هذا القرار.
5) سيتم استخدام البيانات والمعلومات الشخصية المقدمة من قبل المتسابقين للسفارة الصينية في الكويت لأغراض التسجيل والاستخدام الإحصائي والمراسلات والدعاية فقط.
6) في حالة وجود أي سؤال أو اختلاف في وجهات النظر فيما يتعلق بالامتثال لشروط وأحكام المسابقة، أو تفسيرها أو تطبيقها، تحتفظ السفارة الصينية في الكويت بالحق الحصري في التفسير النهائي للمسابقة وفقًا لتقديرها الخاص.
7) يعتبر تقديم المشاركات بمثابة قبول للشروط والأحكام المذكورة أعلاه، والتي يمكن تعديلها أو تغييرها في أي وقت من قبل السفارة الصينية في الكويت.
